	Home		Lake Taupō provides one of the most majestic places to row in the country. We aim to provide students and adults of all backgrounds and abilities the opportunity to row. Taupō Rowing Club provides a quality rowing experience in an inclusive, affordable, supportive, committed, and safe environment. We offer a free 6 week learn to row every September through November with top notch coaches. Come join us.
	About		We launch from several locations. The masters row from the Taupō Beach near the marina and Yacht Club. We also have club training facilities at the Sea Scout Ship close to town for our students. We have storage and boats in Tokaanu at the Southern end of the lake and can row there when the rest of the lake is too rough. Taupō Rowing Club has been in operation from 1975. We are always looking for more rowers to join of any ability. We aim to provide students and adults of all backgrounds and abilities the opportunity to row. 	Learn to Row		Taupō Rowing Club Learn to Row. Our Learn to Row classes are offered at no charge. These are geared towards those with either no experience or those who need a refresher course. If you are 12 years old or older, all you need is a desire to learn and have fun. Classes span over 6 weeks and typically begin in September, weather permitting. We have one for adults and another for students.
